Commercial Presentation: In a cardboard box; Available in 100 ml Type 2 amber glass bottles with blue flip-off caps.
Active Ingredient: Each ml contains 60,291 mg Lincomycin HCl equivalent to 50 mg lincomycin base, 143,885 mg spectinomycin sulfate tetrahydrate equivalent to 100 mg spectinomycin base, and 9.45 mg benzyl alcohol as a preservative.
Method Of Application
HEKTASPECK; It is a clear, colorless or slightly yellowish sterile solution for injection.
AREA OF USE / INDICATIONS
Caused by bacteria sensitive to lincomycin and spectinomycin;
In cattle and sheep: in the treatment of bacterial and mycoplasmal pneumonias, septicemias, bacterial enteritis, infectious agalaxia, arthritis, footpene and foot infections,
In dogs and cats: respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, pharyngitis, urogenital system infections such as cystitis and metritis, treatment of gastro-enteritis, treatment of wounds and abscesses, treatment of pyogenic and pustular skin infections,
In broiler chickens: It is used in the treatment of CRD, CRD complex, air sac inflammation, poultry pasteurellosis, staphylococcal infections and coryza infections.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian;
Sheep-lamb 1 ml/day for 10 kg body weight intramuscularly for 3 days.
Calf, cattle 5 ml per 50 kg body weight, intramuscularly twice a day on the first day, once a day for the following 2-4 days according to clinical response.
Dog-cat 0.2 ml intramuscularly per 1 kg body weight twice a day, treatment can be continued for 3-7 days depending on the clinical response.
Broiler chickens 0.5 ml subcutaneously per 2.5 kg body weight for 3 days.
In cattle, no more than 25-30 ml of product should be injected into one injection point.
