Trowel 050 EC

Trowel 050 EC is a pesticide which exerts its effect by inhibiting chitin synthesis. It is effective on the larvas of leaf worms. It has a stomach action, rather than contact action. Trowel 050 EC primarily remains on plant parts to which pesticide was applied. It is not systemic, and it is a strong pesticide that kills larvae. Larvas to which the pesticide is applied cannot molt properly.

While Trowel 050 EC is equally effective against first-stage and end-stage larvae, it is recommended to be applied at earlier stages and when the number of larvae is suitable for spraying in order to prevent the pest’s damage in the best way.

Cotton: Spraying should be initiated when 0.5 larvae per plant or 2 egg bundles or 2 new bursts (sapling group) in 25 plants is observed.

Cucumber: Spraying should be done if 1-2 newly hatched egg bundles or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants. Spraying should be repeated if a pest intensity over the threshold is observed. Timing should be chosen carefully since better results are obtained if spraying is done before the larvae scatter.

 Corn: Spraying is initiated when an average of 2 larvae is seen in a plant.

Compatibility: It can be mixed with insecticides with neutral reactions. If the reaction of the pesticide to be mixed is not known, a sample is prepared to determine if it is compatible. The mixture should be well-prepared and used in a few hours.
