Megluvet Injectable Solution; It is in the form of a colorless, clear and odorless sterile solution for injection and is a Veterinary Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory, Antirheumatic.
PLACE OF USE / INDICATIONS
The product has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic and antiendotoxic effects:
In cattle; It is used in acute mastitis, in the control of acute inflammation due to respiratory tract disease, in acute pulmonary emphysema (fog fever).
in horses; It is used in the treatment of pain and pain caused by smooth muscle spasms of internal organs (colic).
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian:
It is administered intravenously (i.v.) in cattle and horses.
In cattle; The pharmacological dose is 2.2 mg/kg bw/day intravenously.
It is practically used at a dose of 2 ml/45 kg body weight, and the maximum treatment period is 5 days.
in horses; In musculoskeletal disorders, the pharmacological dose is 1.1 mg/kg bw/day intravenously.
It is practically used at a dose of 1 ml / 45 kg body weight, and the maximum treatment period is 5 days.
In cases of colic, intravenous administration at a pharmacological dose of 1.1 mg/kg/day, 1ml/45 kg b.a. used form. If colic recurs, it can be applied a second time. For the treatment of endotoxemia and septic shock associated with gastric torsion and other conditions in which blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract is impaired; It is administered intravenously at a dose of 0.25 mg/kg (1 ml/200 kg) every 6-8 hours.
