Explaining that TAGEM has purchased the right to produce and sell the Pehlivan07 hybrid silage corn variety for 6 years, HEKTAŞ also announced that it has the right to extend the contract at the end of the period.
Developed in collaboration with TAGEM, Western Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute Directorate (BATEM) and Egypt Research Institute, Pehlivan07 was registered in 2019 after performing well compared to its competitors as a result of trials conducted in 11 locations in two years by the Central Directorate of Seed Registration and Certification. The sale of the Pehlivan07 hybrid silage corn variety is scheduled to begin at the end of the year.

Sunset Kimya Agricultural Products, which provides important solutions in the field of agriculture in the domestic market with 97 licensed plant protection products in its portfolio; There are 148 licensed plant protection products abroad. The acquisition will make an important contribution towards hektaş increasing its market share both domestically and in export markets.

Together with our newly established breeding team, we are continuing our breeding efforts related to tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, wheat, corn and cotton seeds at full speed. In this context, we also carry out joint projects with TAGEM affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and with universities and research institutes. Seed breeding studies are studies that span the long term, in which we can get their return in 5-10 years. We believe that we will start to launch our new seeds, which are registered as HEKTAŞ, one by one as of next year.”
